Join us each Wednesday from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. for Magic: The Gathering!  In the Magic: The Gathering card game, you play the role of a planeswalker—a powerful wizard who fights other planeswalkers for glory, knowledge, and conquest. Your deck of cards represents all the weapons in your arsenal.

Spend the afternoon at the library making paper sculptures! We’ll take ordinary paper and turn it into a work of art! Bring your favorite pair of scissors and your imagination to this Afternoon Discoveries!

Join us on Sunday, February 28 at 4:00 p.m. where we’ll explore what makes each of us unique and different! Through quizzes, brain-teasers and experiments we’ll discover what kind of kid you are. What does your signature say about you? Are you right-brained or left-brained? Do you use selective attention? Do you have ESP? How good is your memory? If you could have a super power what would it be?

During this special children’s author event, Iza Trapani will join us to sing, draw and read from her new book, Rufus and Friends: School Days. Copies of Rufus and Friends will be available for purchase along with other titles from the author, and a book signing will take place after the event. In the event of snow, this program will be Thursday, January 28.
